Exploits
MITRE source definition
Adversaries may search for and obtain exploits to support their operations. An exploit takes advantage of a bug or vulnerability in order to cause unintended or unanticipated behavior to occur on computer hardware or software. Exploits may be downloaded from public repositories, acquired from private sources, purchased, stolen, or obtained from vulnerability research and exploit-sharing communities. An obtained exploit may be used without modification or serve as input to later adaptation or development.

MITRE case studies
These are explicit source relationships, not independently reproduced incidents or validated detection coverage.
Simulation and telemetry boundary
This is a technique reference page, not a runnable simulation. No ATLAS-specific telemetry mapping, local attack execution or detector validation is asserted. MITRE maturity describes its source evidence, not a 1200km lab result.
For broader context—not technique-specific control mappings—see AI Security, AI Security Course, and detection-validation methodology.
